Welcome to Redeemed Furniture Design. I am owner/designer/furniture restoration evangelist Marilyn Zimmers. My passion for furniture redesign started with a deeply personal project—my mother's 1932 cedar chest. Despite its rough condition, the chest held sentimental value and became the first piece I restored.

With a background in art and years of experience in design and mixed media, I now create beautiful, meaningful furniture pieces that transform the old and discarded into treasures once again. My journey of restoring furniture reflects my deep belief in redemption and renewal, and I endeavor to bring that same care and creativity to each project.
